We are seeking to hire an outgoing and engaging Sales Manager for the St. Peter's Spirits Company to be the face and voice of our International Green Monké brand in New England. Green Monké is the #1 selling cannabis beverage in the UK, was named the “best-tasting THC drink in California”, is available in California and Canada, and is coming to New England in Q1 of 2022. You will be on the front lines of selling into the critical New England dispensary market, while working in tandem with our distributors and brand partners.

You will work closely with our marketing team to build the cannabis industry’s next #1 selling cannabis beverage in New England. You’ll learn how we work at Green Monké and you’ll communicate our brand values by walking our talk with our dispensary partners and customers. As our sales manager, you already have amazing communication and networking skills, know how to close the sale and are pretty good at making people laugh. It would be awesome if you’ve already done this as a sales manager in the cannabis, beverage or alcohol business and you know your way around in sales and marketing.

What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Living the brand’s vision, mission and goals when with customers and retail partners.
  • Working closely with the sales and marketing team to create local marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Actively selling Green Monké with our distributors into dispensary partners and their budtender teams.
  • Maintaining appropriate inventories in assigned accounts to avoid out of stocks.
  • Merchandising product in accounts to highest standards, including displays and coolers presence.
  • Helping to ensure that retailer marketing programs and promotions are implemented and executed.
  • Transporting and executing point of sale, sales collateral materials as applicable.
  • Exceeding customer service expectations through daily communication, applying a resolution mindset, and providing exemplary customer responsiveness.
  • Building sales relationships with market area dispensaries and decision makers on behalf of the brand.
  • Keeping your ear to the ground for customer feedback on the product, and sharing the kudos and the complaints to the marketing and sales teams.
  • Monitoring the buzz around beverages with dispensaries, giving the marketing team the low down on what’s happening on the ground, and where there might be opportunities for GM to shine.
  • Participating in weekly team meetings, while providing updates on your sales progress.
  • Being a positive face of the brand on the daily.
Sales Manager Requirements:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar CPG or Beverage industry role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field. Otherwise equivalent experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including reporting follow up.
  • Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, resourceful and highly organized.
  • Impeccable time management and punctuality.
  • Working knowledge of sales management platforms and tools.
  • Adaptable with the ability to prioritize tasks.

Time Commitment: 10-20 hours/week

St. Peter’s Spirits is looking for a Divisional Controller to report directly to the CFO. This versatile and challenging position will work across all business segments including operations, finance, accounting, tax and support for new business initiatives (accounting, tax, internal control requirements). The successful candidate will be responsible for corporate accounting, operational finance and tax requirements. Beyond your fantastic technical capabilities, you will require strong team wok and change management skills. We are seeking a results-oriented professional with a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills to work in our fast paced, and exciting beverage business.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees the daily operations of accounting and financial reporting functions
  • Oversees monthly/quarterly consolidated financial reporting (4 legal entities, 3 operating segments)
  • Provides analysis and presentation of financial information to CFO and the Senior Management
  • Assesses accounting policies and procedures in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and regulatory standards. Provides accurate accounting guidance, using professional judgement and support on complex issues and transactions, in compliance with IFRS.
  • Manages the external audit engagement process and relationship with the Auditors.
  • Manage/enhance the effectiveness of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting
  • Supports the FP&A function with the preparation of annual and interim forecasts, with direct accountability for all Balance Sheet and Cash Flow projections.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of inventory accuracy, including physical verification, valuation and excess/obsolete reserves.
  • Provide cost accounting services, including information to assist in pricing decisions.
  • Supports Tax planning; tax authority audit activity, tax compliance and tax risk management using both internal resources and external service providers.
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial/state and federal regulatory reporting requirements in Canada and USA.
  • Support ad hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years experience in the finance group of a complex and growing organization as accounting manager/division controller in a Beverage/CPG/Manufacturing industry environment. Experience working in industries which have a high volume of transactions would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in operational finance with special focus on various aspects of supply chain & logistics is critical to this role.
  • Accounting degree with professional qualification such as CPA, CGA, CMA or ACCA
  • Experience in leading the monthly close and reporting processes, budgets and forecasts
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks (both US and Canadian versions) is a plus.
  • Experience in the development and appreciation for principles of corporate governance and the ability to interface effectively with senior management.
  • Well-rounded technical skills in accounting, tax, audit and operational finance.
  • A successful track record leading teams, implementing change, and developing people and is willing to role up the sleeves as required.

  • Ability to anticipate issues and take preventive/corrective action.
